Peter Reuff Licht

PETER REUFF LICHT is a design office for interior and exterior lighting in Hamburg, founded in 2015. Its core activities are specialist lighting designs for lighting installations, expert reports on possible light emissions under the LAI guideline and training on innovative lighting technology and current standards.

The old website ran on Joomla 3. Instead of migrating it step by step to Joomla 4, we rebuilt it completely on Joomla 4 in January 2023. We largely kept the layout and design, and the content too – only the slideshow effects became simpler.

A requirement from the offer: the website works without external resources, in line with the GDPR. We newly created the legal notice and privacy policy with the client’s details, ensured it runs under PHP 8.1, and one hour of training was included.

Our measurement of the home page confirms the requirement: all requests go to the site’s own server, and before any consent the page sets just one own, technically necessary cookie.

Since February 2023 we have looked after peterreufflicht.de in a maintenance contract: updates of Joomla and the extensions, display checks, security checks, availability monitoring and monthly backups, also stored externally since 2024. Through the updates in the contract the website has now arrived at Joomla 5.

The PETER REUFF LICHT website looks as before – with new technology underneath. It loads nothing from third-party servers, is updated regularly and has moved from Joomla 4 to Joomla 5 through the updates in the maintenance contract.
