Karate Sülfeld

In Sülfeld, Michael Hartig has taught karate at the club SGR Sülfeld since 2005 – along with self-defence, sword fighting and movement programmes for children. Children train with him as well as adults.
The previous club website had grown over many years: karate, kyusho jitsu, falling techniques, kenjutsu, chanbara, sensory integration, kinesthetics, educational goals – every topic on a page of its own, often with a lot of theory. For parents who want to know quickly which training suits their child, that was a lot to read.
At the end of 2025 we defined the new structure with Michael Hartig: karate for children, chanbara for children, karate for adults and real self-defence – plus acrobatic karate and the Shinobi Academy as programmes for children. We took over the content of the old site, reordered it and told it in plain words.

First came a single page: “Karate for children”. Only when it was right did we build all further offers on this pattern. So every page answers the same parents’ questions in the same place: Who is the training for? What will my child learn? What does a lesson look like? What does membership cost, and what should we wear to the trial lesson?

Target group, learning goals and lesson structure in the same place on every page.

Health, clothing, fees and house rules – answered before anyone has to ask.
A registration form with course selection, built with RSForm Pro.
For chanbara, acrobatic karate and the Shinobi Academy the content comes from the rich stock of the old club website – sensory integration, falling techniques and sword fighting – retold for parents. The training photos were already there: children with soft swords, in the movement course and balancing.

Our measurement of the page “Karate for children” shows: all requests go to the site’s own server, and before any consent the page sets just one own, technically necessary cookie.
Measured on 12 October 2026 on the preview of the new website: page “Karate for children”, one run without cache, before any consent.
The website runs on Joomla 6 with YOOtheme Pro. All offer pages share the same structure, so new offers are created quickly and still look consistent. The registration form runs on RSForm Pro.
Karate Sülfeld has a website that speaks to parents: clear offers by age and interest, the same reliable structure on every page and a short way to the trial lesson. The knowledge of the old club website is not lost – it now lives, easy to understand, in the new offers.
