ENT practice Dr. Wischatta

Dr. med. univ. Martin Wischatta is a specialist in ear, nose and throat medicine in Hamburg-Langenhorn; his practice is in the Ochsenzoll Center on Langenhorner Chaussee. It combines conventional medicine with naturopathic methods – from vertigo and sleep diagnostics to fitting hearing aids. We have worked for the practice since 2010: a new website in 2010, later design, search engine optimisation and training.
In 2026 a new website was to be built – from five designs for practice, diagnostics, therapy, info and contact, with Joomla 6 and YOOtheme Pro, easy to read on phones and tablets and as data-friendly as possible. The practice brought its own content: detailed texts on 33 examinations and treatments, from sudden hearing loss and vertigo to sleep apnoea and fitness to dive.

Every page is a YOOtheme builder page; none hides in a template or the article editor. The practice’s texts are split into single elements – headline, paragraph, list, info box, table – so the team changes one section without touching the rest. What recurs on many pages exists only once: opening hours, the phone box and the appointment call are central building blocks. A changed opening time is entered in one place and appears on every page at once.
All pages in the YOOtheme builder – no templates, no article editor.
Opening hours, phone and appointment call maintained once, up to date everywhere.
Headline, paragraph, list, box – every part editable on its own.
“Related topics” shows pages from the same area by itself.
Diagnostics and therapy are ordered by area: ear and hearing, nose and allergy, throat, vertigo and headache, sleep and snoring, fitness certificates and holistic methods. Every service has its own page with a picture, an introduction and the practice’s detailed text; the sidebar shows the phone number, opening hours and related topics from the same area.

“Book an appointment” is always at the top, and every page ends with a box with the phone number – that is all it takes; at the practice’s request we deliberately reduced the appointment buttons. On a phone the call is one tap away. Under “Info” patients find everything for their visit: appointments, documents, private patients and self-payers, prescriptions, video consultation and FAQ. The home page lists the emergency numbers, down to the fax for people with hearing or speech impairments.

Each of the 47 pages has its own title, its own description for search engines and exactly one main heading. The addresses speak for themselves – /diagnostik/endoskopie – and breadcrumbs show where you are.
Counted on 13 October 2026 on all pages of the new website.
Fonts and pictures come from the site’s own server, and the OpenStreetMap map only loads after a click. Before any consent the website sets just one technically necessary cookie – it needs no cookie banner. The contact form built with RSForm! Pro asks for consent to the processing and links the privacy policy.
The practice’s feedback – a new phone number, a new name for the location, medical refinements, new texts for the info area and the page on hearing disorders in children – went in as one bundled round, and every change is documented with a before/after picture.
The ENT practice Dr. Wischatta has a website that puts its expertise in order: 33 services in seven areas, a clear way to an appointment and everything important for a visit. Everything is maintained in one place – in the YOOtheme builder, with central building blocks for what changes more often.
