Preamble
The project description includes the implementation of a new website for a customer based on the Joomla platform. The design of the website was created individually and is included in the scope of services.
Technical implementation
The technical basis of the project is Joomla 3.9, supplemented by various extensions such as Yootheme Pro, Akeeba Backup Pro and Admin Tools Pro. These extensions ensure a high level of security, maintenance and individual design options.
Design and responsiveness
The website design was created for the “Desktop” device class. For the remaining device classes, the responsive design was adapted based on the Uikit standard values and the needs of the target group.
Wiki-Area
The wiki area was implemented in a reduced and simpler form in order to do justice to the responsive design/mobile first approach. The Joomla category structure was used to structure and display the content.
Multilingualism and SEO
The website was implemented in three languages: German, English and French. The SEO strategy was provided and implemented by the customer, including URL length, heading structure, meta description and other optimizations.
Privacy and security
Privacy and security were important aspects of the project. The website does not load external resources to minimize privacy risks. Google Fonts were installed locally and a cookie banner for an OPTIN solution was integrated. In addition, SSL functionality was guaranteed throughout the website.
