The CMS, or content management system, is the heart of your website. If it is out of date, every change becomes a risk: Joomla 3 and 4 no longer receive security updates, extensions are abandoned, and other systems were set up years ago and have barely been touched since.

We start with a review: which content, extensions and features does your website have, and which do you still need? We then move everything to Joomla 6, first as a dress rehearsal on a copy. We compare the pages before and after the move and fix any differences. The switch only happens once you have approved the result. Page addresses stay the same where possible; otherwise we set up redirects.

Afterwards you work with a current system that receives security updates and can grow with well-maintained extensions. Your content is preserved, and your team edits it in a tidy interface.

What is a CMS?
CMS stands for content management system. It lets you edit the text, images and menus of your website without any programming knowledge. Joomla is one such system.
Can I move straight from Joomla 3 to Joomla 6?
For you it is a single move. Technically, we take the website through the necessary intermediate steps to Joomla 6 and check the result on a copy before the live site is switched.
What happens to my content when I switch from another system?
We transfer your text, images and page structure into Joomla and assign them to categories and menus. Anything that cannot be moved automatically, such as special features, we discuss with you beforehand.
We use Falang for several languages. What happens to it?
For the move there is newtastic Languages, our extension for multilingual sites using Joomla's built-in tools. It helps you switch from Falang, after which your website uses the language features that come with Joomla itself.
Will my team have to relearn everything?
Anyone who knows Joomla will soon feel at home, even though Joomla 6 looks different from Joomla 3. In a short induction we show your team what has changed.
